Join a Park Ranger to hear the legend of the Brown Mountain Lights. It is said that these eerie, colorful, orb shaped lights which appear on, and above Brown Mountain, located in Burke County, are un-explained and have baffled sentients as far back as 1771. While that is true, the locals have offered the reason for these lights appearing and may just be the only ones that haven’t been proved wrong. Come and hear the legend and offer your reasoning for these lights appearing.
In the event of inclement weather this event will be held inside the Seven Devils Town Hall.
