NC HWY 105 Road Closed

Update: April 11th

NC HWY 105 from New Bridge (Broadstone Road) to Shulls Mill Road is still CLOSED due to construction.
Current expected opening is Friday, April 12th at 5:00pm, with warnings of further delay of opening.

Detour Routes for Personal Vehicle going to Boone include:
Shulls Mill Road (Hound Ears) to Poplar Grove to Hwy 105
Or
Clarks Creek Road (Foscoe) to Hwy 194 to Broadstone (Valle Crucis) left to Hwy 421or right to Hwy 105.

Motorists are warned detours on side roads contain sharp mountain curves.
